Juliana Ding is an engineer by training and has worked in the environmental industry for more than 25 years assisting clients in compliance and best management practices related to environmental, social, occupational health and safety matters. She started her consulting career in Australia where she project managed environmental programs and field studies, for both private and public sector clients, in the areas of water resources protection and management, flood risk assessment, land contamination, and the implementation of mitigation measures. Since relocating to Asia in the early 1990s, Juliana has been involved in the expanding environmental industry in Asia particularly in the management of environmental, occupational health and safety issues, including remedial works associated with industrial activities. In recent years she has worked on infrastructure development projects in Myanmar, Singapore and Indonesia pertaining to ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles such as those of IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles. Juliana is currently the Regional Director of Ramboll’s Environment and Health Business Unit in Asia, and is based in Singapore.
