Green Infrastructure (GI) and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) within urban and peri-urban environments are increasingly recognized for their potential to preserve the intrinsic values of natural systems while addressing the complex challenges faced in urban water, food and natural resource management. This session will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience from countries in South and Southeast Asia. We will include a panel discussion on the potentials and challenges for increased implementation, collaboration and financing of GI initiatives in urban environments. We anticipate that the session will assist in developing more substantial concepts for the increased implementation of GI and NBS across South and Southeast Asia region.
